The last day i saw you
It was like this
Sunny and hot
Today reminds me of you
The sadness i felt that it would be the eternal goodbye
It was like this
Tears stuck inside
Today reminds me of you
The longing emptiness i wanted to be filled
It was like this
Empty and sad
Today reminds me of you
The first and only guy i ever loved
The only guy i ever wanted
But never felt the same
Today reminds me of you
Remebering your sweet caring face
Wishing to see it for eternity
And never have to let go
Today reminds me of you
The sadness i'm feeling that i never got to say i was sorry
For being a nuisance
For chasing you around with messages all the time
Today reminds me of you
The last ray of sunshine i saw threw my world of gray
The goodbye i had to finalize
And knew i'd never forget. |
