Love Slips Away

Why, I don't know
I used to never
Want you to go
I used to never
Cry before bed
I used to love
Now my feelings are dead
I used to think
You were cute and were kind
But I've left all
Feelings for you behind
Sure I may want you
Every now and then
But then I remember
That you like "my twin"
Then I give up hope
Let my love slide on by
Then that is when
I begin to cry
I cry cuz you hate me
Yes, that's how it seems
Sometimes I cry
Over stupid little things
Well, I know you don't like me
I'll get out of your way
I still really like you though
That's all I'm gonna say
