» Poem: True Happiness is Hidden
True Happiness is Hidden
written by lost_and_forgotten

I feel so displaced
Even thought I am home.
Home is where the heart is,
My heart is not home.
My only escape from this unwanted feeling
Is in the words and the music.
Whether it's the music of my head
Or the music of my heart,
I get lost in it.
Whether I write from my head
Or write from my heart,
It absorbs me.
All the pain,
All the fear,
All the sorrow,
They all disapper
With the pen and the drums.
The louder the music,
The darker the ink,
The more I'mm surrounded with laughter,
Joy,
And happiness.
So I turn up the music and write in black,
So that I'm lost in my own world
Once again.
