» Poem: Crumbling Heart
Crumbling Heart
written by lost_and_forgotten

You looked at me
I can not look back
I hate your face
In your eyes there's a tack

It pierces me
Right in the heart
It hurts so bad
Like it is a dart

For I love you dearly
Truly the most
But yet I hate you
Our relationship's toast

You say that you love me
All my love's what you take
You always make me promises
And these you always break

You've broken more than promises
You've also broken my heart
My love for you was pure and whole
But now it's just a part
