» Poem: All The Things I Left Behind
All The Things I Left Behind
written by Mars_Phoenix

In in the midst of chaos and confusion,
There is that lingering moment
Like the last breath of life.
Where you make the choice to move on and forget,
All the things you ever did with her you regret,
So wash your mind with empty thoughts,
Like a nation that conforms becomes void of compassion and remorse.
Don't you love the fact that you had that great moment?
If only for a little while?
But when its over you want to forget,
To eraze the memories of the day you first met.

I'm telling you don't do it because your losing out,
On all the things you learned and lost I have no doubt,
That if your true to yourself you'll learn and find
The Truth:
That the most beautiful thing lies within the mind,
Compassion and Love these things i'll never leave behind.
