My Star

It shines when the sun fades away.
It goes when I don't want people to see me hiding.
Everytime I need you,
I know you will shine the same way I do for you.
Thank you for loving me the way no one ever has.
I just want you to know,
I'll always be waiting for us to be together again.
You mean the world to me,
You are my star.
I'll never push you away,
You'll always be in my sky,
And you'll always be in my heart,
Everytime I look up I will see you there,
Because thats the way it's always been,
You are mine.
So tonight I'll look up,
But this time you've faded into nothing,
This time I lost you,
And now I feel empty and alone in the dark,
I'm tired of trying to smile without you.
My star slowly died. |
