Yesterday

I kept letting you shutter and break my heart
Yesterday i lied
I avoided the truth and told you i didn't love you anymore
Yesterday i lost you
I saw your face for the very last time
Yesterday i fell apart
I couldn't handle being separated from the only thing i ever wanted
Yesterday i threw away my heart
I couldn't handle the love that had turned to pain
Yesterday i cried
I didn't want to feel this way about you
Yesterday i gave up
I sank down into the floor of tears
Yesterday i drown
I couldn't swim back to the surface of my emotions
Yesterday i died
I died knowing you were a forbidden being
Yesterday i still remembered you
I knew i would never have you
Yesterday i saw you after 3 years
I still loved you as much as i had in life
Yesterday i realized
It was all just a past of yesterday lost and buried
But then why
Why do i still feel like i need him? |
