» Poem: Window To The World
Window To The World
written by Mars_Phoenix

Its you, in your quest for reflection,
And its you in your desire for more,
And all I tried to do was
Reconcile broken promisies.

Its you, in your love for tragedy,
And its you in your hate for dissapointment,
And all I wanted was a moment
Of your time in which you would look
At me.

Yet you force me to dig deep,
To release a piece buried within,
With such resolve i'll see it through,
3Dimentional box;
Meditation in a cell
I wanna break out of this feeling,
Of helplessness and lonelyness,
The world moves so fast,
Yet I stand still looking through the haze of
Dark shadows clinging to bright clothing
As they move together on the floor,
With blue eyes gone cold
I'll watch the world till I break away
The pieces of the puzzle which
Form this Iris;
A window to the world.
