Read my wrists
And then tell me this
Why do you think I chose to make these scars
Late at night, under the stars?

Read my hands
And then tell me what I had planned
Why do you think I chose to make my fingers bleed
Late at night, so that no one could see?

Read my face
And then tell me why I left that dreadful place
Why do you think I chose to run away
Late at night, so no one could force me to stay?

Read my eyes
And then tell me why
Why do you think they don't look strange
Late at night, when they should change?

Read my wrists
And then answer all these questions and this
Why do you think I chose to make these scars
Late at night, under the stars?
