» Poem: Walked Straight Past
Walked Straight Past
written by Morbid Angel

A bunch of people walking past,
Somehow it's your face I see in this faceless crowd,
But in a second you were gone, dissapeared so fast,
Suddenly the sound came back, hitting me so loud,
I turned around to watch you walk straight past,
It felt as if you were walking out of my life,
As if this would be our last meeting, as if it was goodbye,
Because you walked straight past I reached for a knife,
At my funeral you were there, I even saw you cry,
I thought you'd walked straight past but I didn't see you smile,
It was like romeo and juliet, I didn't realise you cared,
I left you lieing by my grave, crying that you should of told me sooner,
Told me that you loved me before I got sent 6 feet under
