» Poem: Lifeless
Lifeless
written by Morbid Angel
12:04 AM 10/23/04
When the phone rings it's always for my sister or my mum,
Why don't my friends call me? What have I done?

When theres someone at the door it's a postman or a family friend,
No one there to help me, when will this torment end.

When I slit my wrists I'm lifeless with not a care in my head,
This blade loves me, so I might as well be dead.
