» Poem: Me In Your Arms
Me In Your Arms
written by Morbid Angel
05:43 PM 10/23/04
So maybe I thought,
It wouldn't be ok,
I spent all my night lieing awake,
Worrying about today.
But it worked out fine,
When today finally came,
I realised it was the end,
Of this up and down game.
No more excuses,
No friends to get inbetween,
No more anything,
Just you and Me.
I didn't know what to say when it started out,
Sitting across the room from you,
Not making a sound,
But then you broke the ice,
And wrapped your arms around,
It was then that I was in your arms,
Walking through the rain hand in hand.
