» Poem: Guiding My Way
Guiding My Way
written by Morbid Angel

Can it really be possible that theres something guiding my way, all the decisions I'm faced with have already been made, all the people I'll ever love I've already met in rehearse, all the pain laid out, the stuff that hurts the worst.

It's all been planned, is our life just a map, a piece of writing to fill in a gap.
Was it all layed out, I'm an actor in a play, a puppet on a string, guiding my way...

Someone up there wrote a theatrical production, lasted 80 years, full of heartbreak and seduction, pain and heartbreak, happiness and smiles, maybe it was just planned out, I was meant to travel these miles, I was meant to meet you on my journey, and I knew at once I'd love you, you would be the one for me, and I'd know at one that it was true.

It's all been planned, is our life just a map, a piece of writing to fill in a gap.
Was it all layed out, I'm an actor in a play, a puppet on a string, guiding my way...
