» Poem: The Mirror Is Mocking You
The Mirror Is Mocking You

A reflection of one's self, in a mirror you can't escape
A mirror, all it means, is a reflection of who you are
When the mirror sees you, your soul is entirely nape
Do you not look into it and see someone from afar

Who do you recognize, who is the real one here
Do you look into it, and see who you are to me
The one in the reality, or the one in the mirror
Do you look into it and see someone not free

A parallel image is happy it is not you
Cause you are the one who is trapped
In a box, you are bonded, all that you knew
A soul, tortured, this image laughs at time elapsed

A smile, a hope, a time of ended torture is not you
It is a face that is yours, it laughs at your life as you see
The image in the mirror, is not the one that is true
It is the image that mocks you, who you want to be

Year after year, you go through your life, unaware
That the image in the mirror is mocking the one afar
You keep walking your path, knowing not a care
The mirror is mocking you, and all that you are
