» Poem: One Step From The Grave
One Step From The Grave
written by Morbid Angel
11:52 PM 10/29/04
I'm seeing my own dead self,
Lieing, rotting, eaten away,
This is the worst feeling I've ever felt,
I'm one step from my own grave.
Looking in, watching me rot,
Skeleton, nothing, wasted and dead,
On the side of my grave lies a single forget me not,
I tripped over it into my grave, landing on my head,
I was left lieing by my own dead corpse,
And I was surprised to find it moves, it talks,
it told me all the mistakes I'd made,
Threw me back out, one step from the grave.

i'm just curious, are you TRYING to keep ahead of me with poems? I mean if you are I see no point. It seems every time I add more you have to be ahead of me... =\
