Love Never Dies, It's Murdered
written by Morbid Angel10:26 AM 10/31/04Don't try to tell me it faded away,
Unless you kill it, real love always stays,
You broke it yourself when you told all those lies,
I knew that you killed it when it faded from your eyes.
Murdering people isn't the same as murdering love,
Theres no doctors to fix it, no guts or blood,
You can't rush a broken heart to hospital,
It's not possible to stitch it back up.
Once it's gone it's gone, and someone always gets blamed,
But by the end we both know it could never of been saved,
Once it's gone it's gone forever, it's wasted to nothing,
It's all because of us, we're stupid when it comes to loving.
We kill and break what means the most to us,
We stamp on it and tear it up,
Sounds like what you did to my heart,
After we'd fought for it, we came so damn far... |
