» Poem: Is It Such A Sin To Be Different?
Is It Such A Sin To Be Different?
written by Morbid Angel

What the fuck do you think when you look at me?
Some kind of monster? Some kind of devil worshipper?
Well you're wrong, because I'm human,
If you believe I'm some sort of freak,
Then you'd believe in batman.
You fuckers left my best friend bleeding on the street,
Just left him there to die, like a piece of out of date meat.
Is it just because I'm different,
Or is there some sort of deeper reason,
Because we're just adolescents,
Getting accused of being the devil from the clothes I choose to wear,
Is this any sort of life to live,
Constantly being scared?
I'm not sort sort of freak,
I just wish you would give me a break,
I'm just me and if thats a sin,
Do you think I care? I am me.
