Prayer that wasn't answered
written by Lovely_Suicide05:31 AM 11/5/04She's sitting there
On her knees for the prayer
She's holding her hand's together
Beginning the prayer for an answer
She's chanting the words
And there sits some blackbird's
She tries not to look up
Thinking it was only a stirup
She screams as the floor goes hot underneath her knees
As she looks down and see's a million bodies
She realizes that her prayer will not be answered
Going under and begins to get tortured
She see's that she was feeled with to much hate
To fix her fate. |

I hope she realizes in time
That poetry doesn't have to rhyme
(in fact, it's often kind of trite when it does) |

" sometimes i thank god for unanswered prayers Remember when you're talkin' to the man upstairs
That just because he doesn't answer doesn't mean he don't care
Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers "--garth brooks
