» Poem: I'll Take Your Victory
I'll Take Your Victory

Scream and yell hold her up,
While she smiles, poses for a picture,
Praising her big gold cup,
Crowd around folks this is what it's all about,
She hops down and runs to him for a big embrace,
Come on folks show her your support and shout,
She stops in a distance and stares at a girl,
Back away folks,
Who's wearing all black holding out a gray pearl,
The photographer for the paper backs into a nearby tree,
She whispers something to the delicate young goth,
The tender sense of a fight screamed, hey it's me!
While the crowd backed off there they were standing face to face,
The field was clear all the players had stood aside,
Oh dark oh mighty girl took out a black lace,
She backed away then dropped the cup to hear its cry,
A lick of black picked up the gold cup like a case,
A betrayed emotion coiled around the field,
Oh dark oh mighty did not smile neither did she,
Oh dark oh mighty walked away with the cup she had to steal.
