Life took a turn, I relised today,
I'm gonna make a drastic change,
I've learnt that god won't answer,
When I cry and pray,
But this time it's tears of joy that are streaming down my face
I think that I'm finally ready,
To be what I promised I'd be,
With one breath, and you by my side,
This time I'll finally live my own life.
I wish I could have one wish,
I have only one demand,
But I know God won't listen to me,
How can something that doesn't exist,
Ever even begin to understand?
If he did he'd take my life,
And hold me by the hand,
