» Poem: Lost Souls
Lost Souls
written by Morbid Angel
07:22 PM 11/7/04
Innocent child,
I made it through,
I found my way,
My path lies in you.
Now I can rest,
I see them and they don't know what to do,
Their souls are lost,
Because they never found,
What I found in you.
Wondering round, eyes of grey,
I try but I can't guide their way,
I see their wrists, I understand their pain,
They'll find their path, smiling again.
Theres no such thing as a last prayer,
You'll always find,
What you're looking for.
The lost souls, they aren't here anymore
