Screams

Sadly could not help,
He hit her and kicked her,
We watched the whole night.
What a terrible sight to see and hear,
How can someone be so cruel,
That poor girl had yet to have a life,
She was stuck with him and would not let her go.
The night we didn't watch we just heard screams,
Laying in bed trying not to jump up,
For if we helped there was a risk,
Our lives were in danger too.
My boyfriend wouldn't let me help the night it drove me crazy,
He held me back for a while,
And faught me just blocking,
I stopped in exhaustion.
Oh why did I let that go on,
Why did I let him kill her,
Why did I let those screams,
Just make me lay stiller. |
