The Dark Theatre

In your eyes as I step to the game lights camera action;
Discover why "we" means another,
Just like the time I stepped into your shoes,
Picked up from where I left off,
Standing alone in a room so dark,
Moonlight in my eyes,
Back to the door thats leads somewhere back there;
Its a dark theatre of symphonies fuelled by the stepping stone that led me all the way to the top,
Only to realise I was heading towards the drop.
Wish we could've kept together - Stop.
Im reminiscing on things that never stop bringing,
Bad dreams that open these wounds and tear me apart at the seams,
Im tied to you;
Barbed wire wraped around my heart,
But you sucked me in from the start,
Oh you thought you were so smart,
Just like another hit of violence,
Your my adrenaline sweet,
Make love to you and the sounds of Deftones Elite,
Let me swallow my own pain
Before I suck the last drop of dignity from your bedroom floor,
So draw your zig zag hearts on my back
With tools made from your dark desires, you cut.
You burned me so bad and I tried to let go but,
I thought I was heading towards the top,
Only I was already dead from the drop... |
