» Poem: The Dark Theatre II
The Dark Theatre II
written by Mars_Phoenix

Opportunity knocks and you know I never hear
That sound like I do whenever you are near,
Drawn like a metaphor;
Mascara and pink skin,
You and I complete the word SIN,
Cause i'm through with laughing and crying
With people who want me dead and buried,
Cover my face with these sheets
And suffocate my desire to settle the score,
Just lead me to your bedroom I want more
Of that taste sugar sweet,
While my girl on the edge of the bed she weeps,
Like I drew her so many times sketch after sketch,
That way her body moved and her kiss would stretch my heart.
Palms down on the desk where she wrote me
A thousand words,
Just like the look in her eyes told
A thousand stories.
And this moment is so old and faded,
In one second I made a mistake and traded,
All those memories and moments set aside by God
For me and me alone,
For a phone call that brought her to her knees,
And brought me to the place where I could see
A boy standing on a stage with no players
But the girl that watches from the back row,
As her eyes slowly gaze upon me,
She turns her back for the first time and leaves
The boy now a man
In the dark theatre
