Sweet Girl Gone
written by Morbid Angel08:30 PM 11/16/04| So she may have been so sweet before but now this girl has become a whore, friends have ditched her but she won't hit the floor, throw them away and make some more. Life is simple and that is that, if someone hits you then hit them back, it's the way it works and things to change, don't expect a sweet girl to always stay the same. So many things to warp a girls mind, they're only safe if they're stupid, deaf and blind. I've taken a turn and I'll never cry again, this sweet girl is oblivious to pain, seen it all before and took a picture, and now nobody needs to do anything for her. In this life I'm on my own and nobody will be there, whats the point in sharing it if nobody even cares. Nobodies listening so why am I writing these things, powerful silence and what it can bring, so much more then poetry and writing about broken wings, tired of listening to all of my screams. I've taken a turn and I'm ready to fight, no longer sweet I'm a creature of the night. I've learnt not to trust anybody because they all slam your face, so now sweet girl has gone without a trace, if you spit on me I'll spit back too, I won't take any bullshit especially not off you. I've made a change and I'll stick to what I say, I'm saying this now but what happens when my tears turn to rain? I'm too weak to pretend and my words mean nothing, I'm tired of nobody listening and it's like loveless fucking, nobodies reading so why should I bother, I feel like I'm worthless just like my father. I've taken a turn but it's in a circle and I'm lost, thinking about the things I love the most. It isn't working because my mind is still thinking, into the sand I'm faster sinking... |
