Eating Me Away
written by fuzzypunkhat08:58 PM 11/17/04Can my tears remove the shadow that licks across my eyes?
Will they flash like lightning in the stormy skies?
The world disappears before my eyes and I stand alone,
The ground under me crumbles and I fall onto a black stone,
Wet with crimson red and scattered bones,
This is your chamber you have held me from everything,
You held me back from everything and led me down a shadowy road,
You acted as if you loved me and you embraced me so,
But you just killed my inside and ate away my soul. |
