» Poem: Absent Presence
Absent Presence
written by fuzzypunkhat

Your face it haunts me at night,
And your voice it sends me into fright,
Your presence is still there in my room,
Walk in to see a faded image every afternoon,
Why, why, leave me and then just haunt me for something I did not do,
Is this your revenge or are you just saying that I love you?
And we might never be through...
I will spend my life with your spirit because I want to.
