» Poem: Trying To Find My Way Home
Trying To Find My Way Home
written by Morbid Angel
04:58 PM 11/18/04
It's raining and it's cold,
You're so hurting and alone,
It's so wet that your name washed from my hand,
Your legs are numb and you can hardly stand.

Running towards a locked door,
You keep falling to the floor,
Give up and crawl,
He won't love you anymore.

Tears streaming from your eyes,
People staring as you cry,
Reflected pain under blinding street lights,
Day soon becoming night.

Trying to find your way home,
So cold and alone,
He won't love you anymore,
Time to hit the floor.
