» Poem: Toys
Toys
written by Mars_Phoenix

Settle and breath in another battle for art,
Body and mind designed to assimilate and destroy,
Memories of a house and white picket fence
fill my head as my body goes rigid tense,
Like im a toy soldier plastic and obsolete,
A dying breed of wounds inside and out,
One day we'll wake up from this dream I doubt
That there is a real world after the fall,
You have to listen if you wanna live at all,
Its the nothing in the moment between the silence
And the storm,
I'm not your average killer I go against the norm,
Cause they've filled me up with cartoons and carnage,
I'm just another toy soldier on the front line of this age,
2004 where we all wanna get rich 'or die tryin',
But me I just wanna look for that place,
That some call Heaven
And some call Hell.
