Laid To Rest

Cry to the river
Cry for the grave
You hear the voices
And you are afraid
The darkness surrounds you
You don’t no what to do
Black swans down the river
Like demands tormenting you
Then he comes through the night
Eyes glowing so ever bright
All the rage in his heart
Only makes hatred his delight
(man sings)
Here comes my soul
Hate is plentiful
I see fear in your eyes
As you begin to die
Death seeps into you
As your soul dies to
You are forever lost
As your sole begins to frost
(women sings)
Oh how, I am dragged further down
Far, far bellow the ground
Taken away from the light
Now never to be found
Lift me up to you
Help me to see you
Lift me up from this hell
That I am being taken to!
( man whispers)
Empty whispers
In your ear
Telling you that
Death is near
Pray to God
You may be saved
And taken away
From your new grave
(women sings)
Cry to the river
Cry for the grave
You hear the voices
And wish for the golden days
Midsummer I waved
With hope for the grave
Cold is my soul
And now never to be saved
I’m a rose in the rain
Full of nothing but pain
Lost in a never ending forest
Now going insane
(man sings)
For your loneliness
I’m the prayer
Leave it to me
And I’ll be the slayer
Bared on your tomb
Open your secret ways
The dance of the moon light
Will watch over your grave
The skies sees all your pain,
That endless prison
Discolors what you see
Now weak from your condition
(scream)
