Tortured Soul

Do this to me?
Torture me.
The scars you have
They make me cry
I can barely stand to look at
Or to touch you
It hurts too much
I wish I could show you
How broken I really am
But you have your own
Battle to fight
I'm forgetting everything
How to love,
How to smile
I have no one to talk to
Especially not you
I want to be
Close to you,
A part of you
But I'm too afraid
Of getting in too deep,
Of losing my grip.
I'm all alone,
Even when I'm with you |
