» Poem: Snowflake
Snowflake
written by Morbid Angel
01:45 AM 11/27/04
Each snowflake holds a dream,
Once a dream of you and me,
Just a tiny flake upon your shoulder,
Who ever knew it could grow much colder.

Falls like snow,
Stays like rain,
Wind will blow,
A snowflake my way again.

All good things soon melt away,
Leave you alone to fight a thousand days,
Once a warm heart,
A melted snowflake in the dark.

Falls like snow,
Stays like rain,
Wind will blow,
A snowflake my way again.

Fade away in the blink of an eye,
Fall away with a single tear that I'll cry,
A snowflake holds the door to a million memories,
Once a million dreams of you and me.

Falls like snow,
Stays like rain,
Wind will blow,
A snowflake my way again.
