» Poem: Some Sweet Fantasy
Some Sweet Fantasy
written by Morbid Angel
01:52 AM 11/27/04
We sat like we didn't care,
The love that was once there,
We talked like we were re-united friends,
Seeing each other once again.

It was just an illusion,
Some sweet fantasy,
It was just an illusion,
A thought bubble of you and me.

We kept away from the word love,
We only spoke of the fun,
Didn't mention the times you held me in your arms,
Didn't mention the time you tore me apart.

It was just an illusion,
Some sweet fantasy,
It was just an illusion,
A thought bubble of you and me.

That hug when we parted once again,
When you held me you ripped open my wounds again,
Just a last kiss or a memory of before?
Just don't say that word...love.

It was just an illusion,
Some sweet fantasy,
It was just an illusion,
A thought bubble of you and me
