» Poem: Torn In Two
Torn In Two
written by Morbid Angel
10:53 PM 11/27/04
For a moment,
My eyes lock on you.
A tear falls from your eye,
Shines so blue.
Your face looks lost,
Your tears are silent,
Such empty arms,
Heart so voilent.
Such gentle anger,
Love filled rage,
Soft hatred,
Aimed my way.

The next second,
My eyes break free,
Standing across the room,
My worst enemy.
Can't look back,
Darkness covers,
The world goes black,
They're trying to tear apart us lovers.

What choice do you expect me to make,
The angel I love or the devil I hate,
He's crying for me,
She's calling me ugly.
Get rid of my heart,
Tear myself apart,
All for a friend...
Or stay with who I love til the end.
