» Poem: A Love Letter that Never Fades
A Love Letter that Never Fades
written by fuzzypunkhat

After I had journied across the seas,
I missed you my love,
Before I left you had collapsed on your knees,
To my legs you wanted to drag followed by kisses and hugs.

I stare out the back window now,
Hoping to see you,
But my mind is echoing the whispers that made me leave that were so foul,
I wish our love could be brought to a new.

In this vacant house,
Where I do not belong,
Here, alone, you without,
To myself I will sing a song,

My feet beneath the water,
Uncomforted and so worn out, into the waves,
I open the packaged mail,
A Love Letter that Never Fades.
