» Poem: Sharp Words
Sharp Words
written by trulybroken57

Take them back
All those awful
Words you said
Make them go away.
Yet I know
As soon as
They touch your lips
Sharp as a
Devil's kiss
Thay will tempt you
Tell you its okay
Its okay to hurt me
Its okay to make me
Feel as if I'm no one

But I have
Words like that too
Sharp as daggers
I can rip you apart
Bleed out the love
That you will
Never give me
As I throw
Random words at you
Pitching them like rocks
I see you laughing
Laughing at me
Smirking at my attempts
To regain my dignity
That are hopelessly failing

I like how this is worded...the flow is smooth. Very good!
