(No-One) But You

My wings were broken but I still managed to fly,
My tears were falling but there was a smile on my face,
My heart was shattered but you fixed it again.
My hand was cold but you warmed it in yours,
I kept falling over but you picked me up off the floor,
The stars kept on fading but you guided me through the dark,
The air grew colder but you took me to your heart.
My dreams turned to nightmares but you kept me awake,
Saving me from the torture, escaping heartbreak,
My throat was broken but you found the silence perfect,
Theres no one but you in this empty street. |
