Emotion That Despair Had Made

Whilst I walk amongst the living with futile face.
To shelter deep inside myself, in frozen hearts,
We've come apart but, disillusioned, I remain decadent."
The gates are full wide shut for I, in Irony, I laugh as promise metaphors the shattered glass.
None to blame, when all is same.
Scenarios played in thoughts over and over again.
I bereaved myself again of happy vivid tale.
I stole my secret and muttered it to the winds.
To be held against me, to shed my mind in sorrow and tearful red.
The hands none intertwined in rejoice.
Hands are clenched to vent chaotic epitaphs of love, with lost voice.
I curse the four winds, but I have commited myself to loss.
Never again is spoken, but what they say prods me....
"Never say Never."
To what do I owe pleasure too,
when self pride and agony come hand in hand?
I shrug the desolate onto my choice and wilt alone forever in cheated brand.
Eyes wide shut to thine, in sexual apex they deride.
To my whispered secret, 'oh tainted with speech.
Sever out emotion as I'm left to winds in decadence.
To never obtain what I had endeavored, so deceivingly out of reach. |
