Tear Out My Heart
written by Morbid Angel10:13 PM 12/1/04How can you love something so ugly.
It's just an imprint of what once lay here,
It might of been forgotten but it never dissapeared.
Love never fucking fades!
Just one chance to throw away these chains.
I can't believe a word you say.
You haven't got a clue what love really means,
It's just four letters that fit together and weave up these dreams.
Of a world so empty with nobody but you,
Theres not burying to get there, no digging up the truth.
You might as well tear out my heart.
Was it ever really worth breaking?
Leaving me my dead heart, so cold and forsaken.
Everything lasts forever, it's just erased from your mind,
So hold onto them tightly because they're thoughts you'll never find.
Bumping into lost memories again.
In dead we revisit all of our mistakes,
We see ourselves and watch every sin we make.
I know that I'll see letting go of everything we built,
The biggest mistake I ever made was forgetting you.
Holding onto the times we remember like they'll dissapear.
Stop spinning,
It's over.
Life always stops at a point.
And the memories come flooding back. |
