Push It Out
written by Morbid Angel05:29 PM 12/3/04Call me an attention seeker, hell why don't you just call me emo, so many people trying to pull us down but I won't forget my flow. Let these emotions out, these words are gonna blow. I feel them running through my vains to my fingertips, let them out...bit by bit. We say we're writing for ourselves so who cares if it's shit? We do. You can't push out any old lies, weaving together some other life. It's not you, these words won't come together like paper to glue. So you gotta go deep into your brain, or even better go deep into your vains. And if the blood keeps flowing, get out your pen and write a kick ass poem. It won't come from no fairy tail, some little story in your head won't write a poem worthwhile. It's gotta be fucking real, and you gotta write what you feel. Otherwise you're nothing. One day you might stop feeling, but if you got a talent then it's gotta be worth keeping? Broken hearts can write so much better then a smile, it's like walking a few feet compared to a mile. It won't do anything for you, you gotta push it out right from the root. You gotta feel it when you're writing as if theres a power swelling inside, you're in control of this one and theres no emotions that you gotta hide. But what happens when you dry up and go cold? Everything you've ever written will eventually turn to stone. Words can't go on forever without repeating themselves. And the flow stops. The blood stops. The pain stops. And the whole world stands still. The whole world falls from the sky and it's all for you. |

Words come from the heart, but they also come from the pain of what you are feeling at the time. And the strongest words come from those strongest and most painful feelings. [ View Morbid Angel's Profile ] [ Go to the Poetry Portal ] This Poem has been viewed 392 times
