Living For You
written by Morbid Angel08:19 PM 12/3/04You have somebody else in your arms as I cry, a single tear for every time you lied. I'm ten thousand miles away with a blade to my wrist, I try to close my eyes and drift into a dream. Let the blade fall to the floor and scream into my pillow, throwing all my pictures of you out of the window. Pick up a pen and write away your face, it only makes me see your bright blue eyes again. I see a vision of light surrounding you and you holding out your hand, waiting for me to take it and alone you stand. I feel like it's all my fault for letting you leave, somehow whatever you do the blame is always on me. I have so many scars from trying to cut away my heart, keep telling it not to love you and tearing myself apart. This isn't a life, this is just an existance, life and death, I can't tell the difference. Feeling so typical, like I'm the same as everyone else, with a tear in my eye and feeling so by myself. People start to judge by the feelings I can't hide, they don't realise I'm me but I guess they'll never find. I'm living for you but I keep telling myself I don't, so why do I die everytime I'm alone? |
