» Poem: Punch-drunk baby
Punch-drunk baby
written by Mars_Phoenix
07:26 PM 12/6/04
I sit and stare myself to sleep again,
Only to wake up with defeat again,
And we were meant to be friends,
But I guess that was only pretend;
But don't go Nicole,
Don't go Nicole,
Go, go...

You see yourself in my shoes,
I don't think so,
Being best friends was just a ruise,
We ignored all the don'ts, kicked out all the wont's,
And you do whatever it is that you do,
But don't go Nicole,
Don't go Nicole,

Your my lucky left hook,
My punch-drunk baby,
Or my best friend maybe,
Whatever you say your my lady,
Your bags are packed,
But my foots in the door as your bag drops to the floor;
So don't go Nicole don't go.
