» Poem: If you were my friend |
If you were my friend
written by AthiestAnarchist08:26 PM 12/10/04If you were my friend you wouldn't kill yourself
If you were my friend you wouldn't be concerned with wealth.
If you were my friend you wouldn't lie to me.
If you were my friend you would say what you want to be.
If you were my friend you would tell me how you feel.
If you were my friend you would wouldn't treat me like the third wheel.
If you were my friend you would stop all these silly games.
If you were my friend you wouldn't call me names.
If you loved me you would let this other girl go.
If you loved me you wouldn't waver so.
If you loved me we could always be...
But you obviously don't love me...
So stop playing with me...
Just letting you know...you'll always be more than a friend to me...
So, what's the plan to be? |
