» Poem: Hidden In Plain Sight
Hidden In Plain Sight
written by trulybroken57

Hidden in plain sight
I'm walking
In the shadows
Of a darkening sky,
Closing in with the
Threat of rain.
My eyes run over
With tears
Spilling softly
To the ground,
As I walk
Unnoticed-
Yet when I falter
Everyone sees
That on the outside
I can laugh
But inside
It hurts like
A knife peircing
Through my heart.
Hidden in plain sight
Is what it
Feels like
To be me
