Give me a fucking reason!
written by AthiestAnarchist02:45 AM 12/12/04I look though the black windows I call my eyes and all I see is the darkness.
All I see is the blindness.
We shade our eyes to what happens all around.
We shade our eyes until we hit the ground.
When we hit the ground call reality we uncover our eyes to reveal the world.
The frist glimps it all so swirled.
You see the person standing next to you.
You see the people that you've hurt too.
They all stare down at you and walk away.
You scream at them to please come back and stay.
We all walk away from your hurt and all your pain.
We all walk away from you drowning strain.
You crawl after to try and get back what you lost.
You crawl around until the winters first frost.
The coldness that has set in...
The coldness will make you see within.
Can you feel the coldness you've put yourself in contact with?
Can you feel the darkness which is now a heavy mist?
Roll over on your back
Roll over while you get beat with a brick-filled sack
Do you get the picture?
I gave you my heart and you tore it out...
I gave you my love without a doubt...
I gave you my trust and you tossed it out...
I hope you would give me something...
Now all that I have is nothing...
Reach out and grab the ledge painted red
Reach out and grab the ledge of the cliff splatterd with the blood that dripped off my arm
Now you've been warned...
Don't let go...don't give up...
Fight...you must...
Save me...or I'll let go too...
I'll always be the one beside you...
Even though I shouldn't be....
Give me a reason...
Give me a reason...not to move on... |
