Written For You

wishing you were near,
I remember all the times you held me close and kissed away my pain,
all my worries went away when you were here to stay.
I smile everytime I think about you,
I cry every time I remember how far away you really are.
I write this for you,
it helps ease the pain that you can no longer kiss away.
Everything around me reminds me of you,
thinking of you makes my gray skies seem almost blue,
and for that I thank you.
You were there for me when I felt like breaking apart,
and your still here for me,
like you were from the start.
All these things I feel and know,
and it makes the truth quite clear...
I love you, I truly do.
So I hope these words ease the pain,
that I am not there to kiss away. |
