Same old same old

I know what your saying again
I find myself getting into a rut
just about as predictable as rain
Your words are harmless, yet cold
Its the same old same old
I try to read with great insight
Open heart open mind open eyes
But i find it boring, even in light
My head is filled with hows and whys
Your words ar empty yet under hold
It the same old same old
My eyes begin to blinker, lost in the lines
They drift away to the border,
I've read the same thing how many times?
Dumb anarchy with no social order
Your words are worthless yet they are sold
Its the same old same old. |

"Your words are empty" His words are hardly empty. Tell me, do "empty words" speak of past events and come from the soul. To me, that speaks nothing of emptiness. You seem not to know what the word empty actually means. |

Why not criticise my poem Carlo, he feels left out!!
I write about them cos they make me laugh, and you make me laugh. So carry on, any form of amusement is good amusement. |

| Why use empty in a context other than that of which is defined, then? Dictinaries sure are handy, aye Sarah? If something makes you laugh, then it has to be of slight sentiment to you. Otherwise, it wouldn't make you laugh at all. You're right, any form of amusement is good amusement. That's the reason I keep coming back to you. Your idiocrisy makes me wonder what made people so arrogant? |
