» Poem: In Need Of An Angel
In Need Of An Angel
written by Morbid Angel

Those times when you feel like you're nothing to no one, if the world spun you off then they wouldn't would even notice you'd gone. You expect some angel to catch you when you're wings are failing, just falling away silently with every bone slowly breaking. Hoping for a miracle to show up with a light so bright, with caring blue eyes, staring back at mine. In need of an angel, running out of time. Just tell me you love me and I'll let the world pass me by, it'll be like forever packed into a second of time. Wishing is selfish when you want what you don't need, but this time it's different, I'm wishing not to bleed. In need of an angel, to come and fix my wings. I've never felt so strong as that moment you held me, never felt so broken as the moment you dropped me. Never felt so empty since the moment you drowned me, never felt so weak since the moment you loved me.
