» Poem: Purple
Purple
written by lost_and_forgotten
04:46 AM 12/16/04
Purple are the lilacs
That grow amongst the trees
Dainty as the morning dew
Spread about by breeze

Blue is the babbling brook
That creeps around the bend
Who sings a song of love and joy
With every sigh of wind

Yellow is the morning sun
Who shines warm all day through
She keeps me bright and cheerful
Until the next day is new
