To Long And Yet To Short

to cry my self to sleep.
I no longer have the will,
to keep my heart from breaking apart,
and shattering on the floor.
This agony inside me,
won't stay hidden anymore.
I write all my songs for you,
and I sing them with you in my broken heart,
because even though were far apart,
your still all I think about.
Hundreds of tears I cry each week,
thousands I'm sure each year that pass by...
that your not here.
Is fate just cruel?
Or is there a reason for this pain?
I can't help but be filled with disdain,
knowing this is how it will stay,
knowing that for years more,
I will have to endure,
without you,
alone...
With nothing but my tears for comfort.
My rage mingles with my tears,
I can hardly make anything seem clear,
I am forever blinded,
without you to guide me on my way.
I have written so many poems for you,
trying to ease the torture I feel without your touch,
this all just to much!
I feel to young to know such pain,
only you can heal my heart,
and kiss away the worries I carry in my troubled mind.
What happened to my happy heart?
What happened to my gleeful wings,
that used to fly so high,
So full of dreams.
My roses are now dying,
my wings are no longer high flying,
my happy silver thoughts are gray,
and there is no other way to turn them bright,
unless you come back to me tonight.
But there is one last dream in my heart,
that I will cling to with my last dying breath...
That someday you will be able to return,
and my serene dreams will once again fill my mind,
and there will be no more need for tears,
there will only be you, our happiness and me. |

Its long but yet I feel there is no end to all the words I could say about him...
And that is why it is to short.
